Curt cleared out a space for it in the dvd tower, I don't know if he'll actually find the thing! lol
This might very well be our last Easter basket. By the time he gets his braces off, he'll be 14! I don't know if he'll even want to have one by then. Wow, time has gone. Of course our daughter had one until she was 20! That's only because we always had left overs from son's basket, so we thought, "What the heck." Last year we didn't get him much candy though. I bought him a bunch of fun stuff, weird stuff like etching kits, etc. Things that he doesn't normally get. He still hasn't done them. Grrr.
Yesterday ds and dh went to a camping, hunting and fishing show/expo so I picked up dd and we went shopping on Grand. I first went to Borealis Yarn shop on Thomas (off of Snelling) and grabbed 2 16" circs: a size 2 and 3. Those are for the Hermione Hearts Ron hat: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/hermione-hearts-ron Can't wait to do that. Then we went to Grand cuz The Yarnery had the right dye lot for some Frog Tree alpaca for the hat. We had lunch and just walked around. Dd and I almost talked me into buying the old fashioned phone at Pottery Barn. It was so beautiful out. Whenever dd and I spend time together outdoors we say we're getting our Vitamin D.
Eventually, we all four, met up and went to dinner at Pizza Luce on Selby. Daughter had been reading about it and wanting to go there for a couple years, I'm glad we finally made it, it was SOOO good. (See my Yelp write-up at bottom of blog) They had quite a few vegan options. I had the Mock Sausage Hoagie. It was wonderful. Very spicy, hot and saucy and even meaty feeling. I can't wait to go back there.
Son had the Bear Pizza, it looked wonderful if you're into the carcass on a crust thing. ha ha Daughter got the Baked Potato Pizza. Instead of sauce, they put a layer on mashed potatoes along with broccoli, cheese, bacon, sour cream, and probably other stuff I don't remember. Hubby had some chicken hoagie, but he never says much about it, so I'm only assuming it was good.
Speaking of good food, I found a recipe on http://www.doitdelicious.com/ (Jerry Seinfeld's wife's site) It's Quinoa with Zucchini. http://www.doitdelicious.com/recipes/make_it/quinoa_zucchini_and_toasted_walnut_pilaf It's incredible, though I'd suggest adding at least one more clove of garlic and an extra tsp. of the fresh thyme. I also threw in a shredded carrot for color. I'd eat it every day if I could.

Bye for now. Thanks for reading. :-)
Here's an update on the braces. All went well, painful for the first and second visits (where the doc filed his teeth down with some type of saw - aahhh!)
